New Jognasury-I, Lawngtlai, May 18, 2024 –In an impressive demonstration of academic prowess, Tongchangya students excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examinations conducted by the Mizoram Board of School Education(MBSE) in 2024. The Tongchangya students who participated in the HSLC examinations hailed from various schools including Little Stars English Academy, RMSA Secondary School, New Jognasury, Comprehensive Home Mission School, Ngalimlui, Radha Mohn High School, Duloram Public School, Bajeisora High School, Longpuighat High School, New Angel Public School, Baptist Board School, Pine Mount Higher Secondary School, and Agomoni High School.
A total of 48 Tongchangya students showcased their dedication and commitment to their studies by participating in the examinations. Among these students, 5 achieved outstanding results in the 1st Division, while 13 performed admirably in the 2nd Division. Additionally, 30 students demonstrated their competence by passing in the 3rd Division.
The students who excelled in the 1st Division include 2 students each from RMSA Secondary School, New Jognasury, and Duloram Public School, along with 1 student from Longpuighat High School. Notably, a student from Longpuighat High School distinguished themselves by securing a letter mark in Science, showcasing exceptional academic prowess.
Furthermore, students who passed in the 2nd Division include 3 students from Little Stars English Academy, 4 students from RMSA Secondary School, New Jognasury, 1 student from Duloram Public School, 3 students from Longpuighat High School, 2 students from New Angel Public School, and 1 student from Pine Mount Higher Secondary School.
The remaining 30 students who successfully cleared the examinations and attained the 3rd Division status, and 1 student who got another chance to take a compartmental examination in Social Science, hail from nine schools, excluding Pine Mount Higher Secondary School and Duloram Public School. Their dedication and hard work have been duly rewarded with commendable performances in the examinations.
